Japan 2012 - The Rediscovery Tour 13 Jan 2012 Father It’s been 3 years since my last confession and these are my sins! I took the money! I succumbed to the evil lies of the suits. They spoke of responsibility, family, maturity, mortgages and leases. They said I had to become an adult, that it was time to become a man. I weakened, I feel guilty at my lack of faith! I took the cursed apple they offered me, the evil banks and their lies. I placed myself chained and bound for the rest of time, a slave to my new masters. I work to profit the chosen few! I have had trouble sleeping my father; nightmares they come, twisting turning, my fists clenched tightly, waking suddenly screaming sweat dripping from my body! What have I done? Who was I? If I could only remember! When sleep does finally envelope me in it sweet embrace, the whispers, the dreams they come, scattered fragments, images from another time as if watching from above a child like innocence, a time when I was free! Freedom! Father it haunts me so … What have I become? Who am I? And so begins a voyage, of self-discovery and a celebration of a friendship spanning 36 years. Japan the land of the Rising Sun and Epic Powder beckons me, as does a mermaid who whispers to the sailor who needs to return to the sea. Will I find what I have lost, what I yearn to rediscover and if so the question quite simply remains what next? Join the voyage – February 17th 2012more >> |

An Alaska Heli Experience 03 May 2008 We arrived in Haines on the ferry from Juneau. The 3 hour ferry ride over was amazing, when the peaks of Alaska finally started to break thru we knew we were in for a real treat. Haines is a tiny little in the middle of nowhere Alaska. Once we got checked into the hotel we decided to head out to Mile 33 Road House and the Alaska Helisking operation run by Seandog. The drive from town was unreal; we saw huge moose, so many bald eagles they started to look like ordinary birds. This is a great way to get out of the hustle and bustle of city life. more >> |
