ELAN SNOWBOARDS APPOINTS NEW DIVISION MANAGER

 Begunje, Slovenia – Following the latest restructuring initiatives executed by Elan d.o.o, Elan Snowboards is proud to announce the appointment of Germany’s Alex Klinger (37) to the role of Division Manager, Elan Snowboards.

After working out of Germany with Elan Snowboards in his former role of Brand Manager Central Europe, Klinger’s new position will see him move to Elan d.o.o headquarters in Begunje, Slovenia. Speaking about the appointment, Klinger said: “Elan Snowboards continues to drive the evolution of the sport through groundbreaking technical innovations, and I’m very excited to take on this new challenge and build on the brand’s remarkable success and heritage in snowboarding.”

Klinger replaces Slovenian Primoz Plenstenjak (35), who in turn has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, Elan d.o.o after more than three years in the position of Division Manager, Elan Snowboards. Plenstenjak, a former R&D Manager and Product Manager at Elan Snowboards, will continue to work from the Begunje headquarters.

Elan Snowboards once again underlines its reputation as one of the world’s premier environments for the development of new snowboard technologies through the ongoing support of existing Product Managers Bojan Poljansek (30) and Dragan Gojkovic (30). Dorothee Cuny (28), meanwhile, continues in her role of Marketing Manager, while former Sales & Marketing Manager Germany Ulf Jenson (35) is promoted to the role of Sales & Marketing Manager Central Europe.

Earlier this year, Elan d.o.o also announced the appointments of former board member Ivan Strlekar to the position of Chief Executive, and Leon Korosec (33) to the position of Sales & Marketing Director, Elan d.o.o.
