If you thought last year's terrain park was sick, well this year it's going to be better and bigger than ever before and to add to this the Snowboard Wonderland. There is a new Turbo Grinder to make a world class half-pipe. Falls Creek will certainly be close to having the best terrain park in Australia.
Peter Lucas is again working in the park and instrumental in planning a park that has been designed with the snowboarder's needs in mind - he listens and makes things happen with daily grooming and maintenance.
Falls is also having an Air&Style coaching team enabling snowboarders and skiers who are beyond Ski school level, to learn how to flip, spin and freeride coached by professional riders.
Last season saw the introduction to Kat riding on Mt McKay - this was hugely successful. Its now a permanent gig. It gets plenty of steep and deep powder for days after a dump and still a cheap price at $59 a session.
Social scene? Expect some top live acts this year as, like last year proved, Falls night life goes off with something for everyone.
